Join Swansea Bay Business Club’s April Lunch hosted at Blanco’s Hotel, Bar and Restaurant in Port Talbot, with guest speaker James Davies, Director at Tata Steel. This event will be sponsored by Lloyds Bank.

During James’ career with Tata Steel, he has held multiple senior leadership roles, most notably serving as Works Manager for Steel & Slab from 2020 to September 2024, where he oversaw operations until bringing the Asset offline to undertaken major capital investment programme as part of the UK Transformation.

Before moving into manufacturing leadership, James served as Chief Engineer, bringing deep technical expertise and a reputation for delivering complex engineering and operational improvements.

Beyond the corporate sphere, James is committed to community and sport. He volunteers as Chairman of Wales Rugby League and has previously served on the Board of Thrive Enterprise, contributing to social impact and regional development initiatives.

On Thursday 9th April 2026, Swansea Bay Business Club will meet at Blanco’s Hotel, Bar and Restaurant for a delicious two-course meal, with the opportunity to network with fellow Swansea Bay Business Club members and guests from across Swansea Bay.
