This morning, our Club President, Deputy President and several members of the Swansea Bay Business Club Board were pleased to attend the @trydangwyrddcymru - Carmarthenshire Business Breakfast at the Ivy Bush Royal Hotel, Carmarthen.
Hosted by @AnturCymruWales, the event brought together businesses and stakeholders to hear from guest speakers representing the Swansea Bay City Deal, Associated British Ports and Knights Brown. Discussions focused on regional strategic economic developments and the opportunities arising from renewable energy projects, including the proposed Trydan Gwyrdd Cymru Glyn Cothi Wind Farm.
It was an excellent opportunity to hear about the region`s evolving economic landscape, strengthen connections, and explore how renewable energy investment can support sustainable growth across South West Wales.
Thank you to Antur Cymru Enterprise and all the speakers for an informative and engaging morning.

Ever wanted to know who the President of Swansea Bay Business Club’s dream guest is, or what the Club’s theme tune would be?
For this Summer Garden Party special, we turned the tables and put our Club President, Jonathan, in the hot seat.
We asked him all of our burning questions (or in Mandi’s case… all of the answers! 😉) and challenged him to fit everything into just 60 seconds.
Unfortunately, Jonathan interpreted the time limit as a gentle suggestion rather than a strict rule and somehow managed to stretch 60 seconds into almost 90! ⏱️😂
What an incredible season of success for members of Swansea Bay Business Club! 🎉
We`re delighted to celebrate the achievements of so many of our members who have recently been recognised at prestigious awards ceremonies across Wales.

What a weekend… and what an effort! 🙌
Huge congratulations to our Swansea Bay Business Club President Jonathan Richards, SBBC members and friends following their incredible National Three Peaks Challenge in support of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. 💪
Over an unforgettable 24 hours, the team battled wind, rain, snow, tired legs, little sleep and some seriously tough conditions as they travelled the length of the UK to take on Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon).
Unfortunately, after successfully conquering Ben Nevis, Jonathan twisted his knee on the descent, meaning he was unable to make it to the summit of Scafell Pike - and by the time the team reached Snowdon, conditions meant it was a non-starter.
But despite the setbacks, Jonathan said he couldn’t be prouder of the rest of the team of six - including two past SBBC Presidents, who managed to conquer all three peaks, showing incredible resilience, teamwork and determination throughout 👏
Even more amazingly, the challenge has now raised over £9,000 for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, helping young people build confidence, develop skills and create brighter futures.
We’re now on the final push towards our £10,000 target - if you can help get us over the line, every donation makes a difference! ❤️
