On Friday 5th December 2025, Swansea Bay Business Club will meet at Delta Hotels by Marriott, Swansea for our annual Christmas Celebration Lunch. Members and guests will enjoy a delicious three course meal, with the opportunity to network.

Steve Balsamo is a singer songwriter, actor and artist from Swansea.

Steve won a Variety Club award for his portrayal of Jesus in the London production of Jesus Christ Superstar during the mid-1990s.

He released a solo album on Columbia records, All I Am, before forming the Swansea band The Storys, releasing three more albums and touring the world with Elton John, Celine Dion and Joe Cocker, to name drop a few.
Steve has written songs for Meat Loaf, Cliff Richard and Slash of Guns N’ Roses while working on lots of musical collaborations, including his passion project, ChimpanA.

Steve has recently become part of Grand Ambition, a new and exciting creative collective based at Swansea Grand Theatre focusing on a new perspective to capture the arts through the Swansea lens. During this time, Steve has composed music and songs for the plays Sorter, by Richard Mylan, and Mumfighter by Tracy Harris.

Steve was awarded an honorary fellowship by Trinity St David for his contribution to Welsh music.

This event will be open to members only initially and will open to non-members should capacity not be reached nearer to the event date.
