Swansea Bay Business Club will be hosting The Bank of England Agency for Wales’ November Inflation Report Briefing at the Village Hotel on Friday November 9 at 7:45 am.
The Briefing will cover the Bank’s latest forecasts for both GDP growth and inflation in the UK economy over the next few years and what this may mean for interest rates.
Delivering the briefing will be Ian Derrick, Deputy Agent at the Agency for Wales, who has spent nearly 20 years at the Bank of England.
An economics graduate from Cardiff University, Ian joined the Royal Bank of Scotland straight from University and spent his early working years in corporate finance and project finance roles in the City of London.
We are delighted to step in to support this event and we hope that business owners and senior business professional will attend in numbers, thereby ensuring that the Bank of England can justify continuing to visit Swansea Bay City Region to impart their unique financial perspective.
The event will be free of charge and we welcome all of our members, friends and their guests to attend.
There will be complimentary bacon rolls, teas and coffees on arrival and the event will finish at around 9:30 am.
